They are also extremely easy to lay, with spacings, placement markets and nail guides embossed on the slates, so you will not need the sevices of a specialist slate roofer, saving you time and money again.
The slates are currently available in black and dark grey and are specifically designed to look as close to natural slate as possible. 8 different molds create perfectly create the illusion of natural slate, but with a product that is unmatched in strength and virtually maintenance-free. Natural slate, and all other roofing materials for that matter, cannot withstand a vicious hail storm, which can leave you with not only roof repairs but further repairs to your home if the hail damage has resulted in water damage. Our synthetic slates will not crack, break or chip in any hail storm. If you have not already, view the clip on our home page showing how the slates withstand blows from a hammer.
The slates also have a superior wind-resistance, are flame-retardant and fade-resistant. Combine all of this with the fact that they are made from recycled waste and are completely recyclable and you will agree this is indeed a superior roofing solution.
