TPO is a material made by combining Polyethylene,
Polypropylene and EPDM rubber.
It has been used in automotive applications
for decades. This rubberized material is classified
as TPO when the material contains at least 20
percent rubber. It has been estimated that 10
% or more of landfill space is taken up by roofing
waste, thus making the recycling of roofing
necessary, making TPO a very attractive solution.
